Being sick sucks. It's the absence of energy that I think I hate the most; or at least the second most. I'm usually a person who bounces around, runs my mouth, and moves until I drop; so when I suddenly don't have the energy, or desire, to walk across the house, or even talk out loud; it's a foreign feeling. The past two days have been a timewarp, where I've left the house once, but otherwise have been secluded in front of the tv as the day slowly goes by.
I rarely get sick and I haven't been sick like this for a few years. I've wondered these past few days if it's a reminder, or a suggestion, that slowing down could be a good thing. Maybe it's a suggestion for me to get a little healthier; start running regularly again. Regardless, it's the third day without a drink, and that has to be a good thing.
